BEFORE YOUR RED LIGHT THERAPY

Getting ready for your first Red Light Therapy session?

Here’s what you need to know!

General Info

Consistency is key, 3–5 sessions per week will yield better results than one-off sessions.

Make sure the skin you're treatment is clean and free of lotions, makeup, or oils. This ensures the light can penetrate the skin effectively.

If you've recently been exposed to a tanning bed or sun, it's best to wait a day before undergoing Red Light Therapy, as your skin needs to be in a calm state.

What’s Provided

Safety Glasses, Sanitary sheet

What to Bring

For your red light therapy session, simply bring comfortable clothing. For maximum light exposure and effectiveness we recommend wearing minimal or no clothing during your treatment.

What to Avoid

  • Alcohol

  • Heavy clothing

  • Makeup and lotions (these will act as barriers and reduce light absorption)

  • Looking directly at the light for long periods

  • Use of phone or electronics

  • Use of harsh skincare products immediately before/during
